Cable Business
The Group operates the cable business under the 「Pujiang Cable」 brand. It is a leading professional manufacturer of bridge cables in China and a major manufacturer of long-span bridge cables domestically and internationally. The prefabricated parallel wire strands (「PPWS」) and slings will be mainly used for the main cable strands and slings of the upper structure of long-span suspension bridges. Cable-stayed cables are mainly used for various cable-structured projects such as cable stayed bridges, tied arch bridges, mast towers and roofs. Steel cables for building structures are mainly used in projects such as building venues, space structures, membrane structures, and large-scale exhibition centers that use cables as stress components.
The Group’s products have been used or are currently used to build the three famous super-long-span bridges in China, i.e. Humen No.2 Bridge, Xihoumen Bridge and Runyang Yangtze River Bridge. In addition, we were also the first in China to produce HDPE (high-density polyethylene) protective stay cables for cable-stayed bridges and PPWS for suspension bridges main cables.
The Group’s main production base is located in Xitang County, Zhejiang Province, China, with two suspension cable production lines and two cable production lines. The length of the main factory building of the main cable strand production line for the suspension cables is about 450 meters, which can satisfy the manufacture of the main cable strands of the 3,500-meter main span suspension bridge. The total length of the cable production line and the wharf in the plant is about 1,000 meters. The tension platform has a length of 848 meters and a tension capacity of 3,000 tons, which can meet the cable manufacturing requirements of a 1,500-meter main span cable-stayed bridge. The Group also has a wharf yard of nearly 15,000 square meters, which can store more than 750 coils of finished cable products. The Group’s wharf is also equipped with a large-tonnage gantry crane that can dock 1,000-ton transport ships, and can meet the current transportation requirements for all types of cable-stayed bridges, suspension bridges, cable-related products both domestically and internationally.
According to Frost & Sullivan, we have supplied cables to 35.1% of the super-long-span bridges constructed in China between 1991 and 2017, of which we have supplied bridge cables for 52.9% of the super-long-span suspension bridges and 30.0% of the super-long-span cable-stayed bridges in China. We also ranked second in terms of bridge cable sales revenue in 2017 according to Frost &Sullivan.

Donghai Bridge
Donghai Bridge is the first sea-crossing bridge in China. It was awarded the First Class Prize of The State Scientific and Technological Progress, China Construction Engineering Luban Award and Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Award.
Hangzhou Bay Bridge
Hangzhou Bay Bridge is one of the famous sea-crossing bridges in China and is known as "12 World’s Most Stunning Bridges". It was awarded China Construction Engineering Luban Award and Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Award.
Guangdong Humen No.2 Bridge
Humen No.2 Bridge is the second largest super-long-span suspension bridges in China with a main span of 1,688 meters. The research, development and manufacturing of domestic wire rods and main cable wires was initiated by the bridge project. And it was the first time successfully applying at a large scale on bridges, breaking through core manufacturing technology of 1,960 MPa wires and cable strands.

Yunnan Longjiang Bridge
Yunnan Longjiang Bridge is the largest steel box girder suspension bridge in Asia at present and a landmark building of the Baoteng Highway. It was selected into the CCTV documentary "Super Project".
Oakland Bay Bridge
Oakland Bay Bridge was the single-tower self-anchored anti-seismic suspension bridge with the largest span in the world at that time.
Nanjing No.3 Yangtze River Bridge
Nanjing No.3 Yangtze River Bridge is the first cable-stayed bridge with steel towers in China and the first cable-stayed bridge with curved steel towers in the world. It was awarded Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Award.

The bridge deck is 290 meters from the river valley, so it is known as "Chongqing No. 1 High Bridge". It was awarded China Construction Engineering Luban Award.
Zhejiang Houximen Bridge
Zhejiang Houximen Bridge is the third largest super-long-span suspension bridges in China with a main span of 1,650 meters.It was awarded the First Class Prize of Science and Technology Award of China Highway Society, China Construction Engineering Luban Award and Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Award.
Jiangxi Jiujiang Yangtze River Highway Bridge
A famous super-long-span cable-stayed bridge in China with a main span of 818 meters. It was awarded China Construction Engineering Luban Award, Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Award and National Certificate of Engineering Law.
Minpu Bridge
Minpu Bridge is the first fully-welded long-span steel truss structured cable-stayed bridge in China, which was the largest double-deck cable-stayed bridge in the world at that time.
Nanpu Bridge
Nanpu Bridge is the first Chinese-made super-long-span cable-stayed bridge and is the milestone in the history of Chinese bridge.It was awarded the First Class Prize of The State Scientific and Technological Progress and China Construction Engineering Luban Award.
Shanghai Tower Damper
The damper, with a weight of 1,000 tons, was installed in the Shanghai Tower which is the tallest building in China, breaking a world record at that time. It was awarded China Construction Engineering Luban Award and Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Award.
